Good Morning!

Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience].  -1 John 4:7 AMP

Reading this verse I was thinking that it sounds nice and something I want to do. But then I happened to think of some of the people that their personality might clash with mine or someone that seems immature and self-centered, am I to love and seek the best for them as well? The answer is yes, that person that might be really hard for us to endure to be around or that every time we are around them we walk away frustrated and maybe upset, we are to love them and seek the best for them. We are to treat them as we would the person that has the best attitude and is easy to love. It finishes the verse by saying that anyone who chooses to love is born of God and knows God, that doesn’t mean being selective in who we love but that we love everyone. There is times where that person(s) are living in sin and aren’t even close to in a relationship with God where we may justify to not love them, but remember, we are to love the sinner, just as Jesus did…we can still hate the sin but love the person.
