Good Morning!

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.”  -Isaiah 1:18

You know when you see a catchy slogan on a sign with a scripture reference and it makes you look up the scripture to see what it is? That was the case with the above verse, the verse reference was on a church sign with the words, “Greatest thing to mankind” so I had to look it up and how true it is! In the Old Testament the sacrifices that were made to God were to be spotless and as close to perfect as possible, it was to be the best, off the top, the first fruits. That is still a requirement today in order to get in the presence of God, but since we can’t do that because we are all sinners Jesus did it for us, and through His sacrifice we are made white as snow. That is something to be extremely thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day.
