Good Morning!

Now may our God and Father Himself, and Jesus our Lord guide our steps to you [by removing the obstacles that stand in our way]. And may the Lord cause you to increase and excel and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; so that He may strengthen and establish your hearts without blame in holiness in the sight of our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints (God’s people).  -1 Thessalonians 3:11-13

What an awesome blessing to speak over someone. There are several things I would like to point out on this. Asking God to guide our steps is crucial in our faith walk and I love how it says that He does this by removing obstacles that stand in our way. We may not always think we see God working but how many obstacles does He remove that we never knew where there? The other thing is that Paul is asking God to increase, excel, and overflow in love for one another and for all people. Reading that put a new perspective on it to me for what it looks like to love one another, to overflow with love. Love doesn’t have to be gushy, love can look like a lot of different ways, love is what your heart posture is through your actions. How do these verses change the way you look at God guiding your life and what it looks like to love other people?
