Good Morning!

But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.  -Romans 13:14

When we are clothed with Jesus we can have control over our flesh and not give in to the feelings and desires that come from the flesh. The enemy has a way of making us believe that we deserve certain things for whatever reason but then when we give into that desire we feel the weight of the sin that we just committed. When we focus on what Jesus wants instead of what our flesh wants we can overpower the flesh and live in harmony with God. There are certain things that may be a weakness to us and in those situations you may have to use wisdom and remove yourself from those situations altogether. God gives us the power and ability to overcome addiction and temptations, but we must lean into Him in order to overcome as we cannot do it on our own strength.
