Good Morning!
But now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity]; I have called you by name; you are Mine!” -Isaiah 43:1
This is a blessing that we can all take with us as Christians. All of us have experienced captivity and through becoming a Christian we have the ability to be released from that captivity. God called you by name and said “You are Mine.” We just need to remember that as we go through our day to day, because the enemy likes to keep us distracted and take us down the wrong path and do everything he can to make us forget, that we are God’s. Belonging to God gives us special privileges and strengths that we didn’t have before. It gives us the ability to lean into God rather than have to do everything on our own, we weren’t designed to do everything on our own. When we try to do everything on our own we get overwhelmed, we may get depressed, we may start doubting life itself. God said, “You are Mine”, let us walk in that today.
“You are not alone, God is always with you.”
“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.” -John Piper
“God doesn’t give us what we can’t handle, He helps us handle what we are given.”
