Good Morning!

Then He said to them, “Watch out and guard yourselves against every form of greed; for not even when one has an overflowing abundance does his life consist of nor is it derived from his possessions.”   -Luke 12:15

It is really easy for us to get wrapped up in possessions, positions, and riches. It is important to realize that money, or that thing, or that promotion/position will not bring us true happiness. It might creat happiness for a short period of time, but true, lasting happiness is found in Christ. There is nothing wrong with buying things as long as those things are not consuming all our attention and purpose, and as long as they are not keeping us from being the people that God created us to be. Today, let us pursue happiness through God. Our purpose is to serve God, our purpose does not lie in that “thing”.
