Good Morning!

We know [for a fact] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts].  -1 John 5:19

To many times we go through our day and forget that there are two opposing worlds at war around us. When we have a relationship and are living for God we have an enemy at work trying to derail us. When we are not living for God there is no fulfillment in life and the evil one is doing everything he can to make our life miserable. When we are living for God we have the protection of God surrounding us but just like when we are in a physical battle, we need to be careful what kind of situation we put ourselves in. While we have the protection of God surrounding us it doesn’t mean we can take in unhealthy content and not be affected by it. We need to be intentional in keeping ourselves aligned with God and we also need to be intentional in pushing back the enemy lines to where other people around us can experience the freedom that comes from Christ.
