Blind Faith

Good Morning!

By faith Abraham, when he was called [by God], obeyed by going to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went, not knowing where he was going.  -Hebrews 11:8

Sometimes we don’t know where God is taking us and we often just have to just step out in faith as Abraham did. Most of the things that God wants us to do or the direction He wants us to move, He doesn’t share the whole plan with us but shares enough with us that we know in which direction to start moving. God wants us to operate out of faith which is probably why He doesn’t share the whole plan, that way we don’t take in our own hands and do it our own way and completely sabotage what He is working on and through us. When we step out in faith in something, that thing never looks like what we imagined it to look like, but when we then look back afterwards there is so many details and things that He worked out along the way that we would have completely missed had we done it our way. When we can get to a point where we can look back and see the big picture is when we realize the benefit in walking in faith and doing it God’s way.

“God has a perfect plan for us, He never does it all at once, just step by step to teach us to walk by faith and not by sight.”

“Walking by faith is a daily reality, not a final destination.”  -Kim Ransleben
