Good Morning!
Now as they were eating Jesus took bread, and after blessing it, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” -Matthew 26:26-29
This was the Last Supper where Jesus instructs us how to take communion and note how it says He will not take communion again until He does it with us in heaven. Jesus did a lot of teaching while He was here on earth and a lot of it is written down for us to read and study. It is amazing to me how timeless His teachings are and how extremely well they still apply to today’s culture. He speaks to the heart and while a lot is different from what it was back then the human heart still operates the same. As you read the Bible, open up your mind and posture your heart in a way that you can receive what Jesus wants to teach you through His teachings.

“Jesus is more than a friend. He is a Teacher of truth and life who shows us the way that leads to happiness.” -Pope Francis
Dad Joke of the Day:
I went to McDonald’s today and ate a Kid’s Meal.
It was good but his mom was furious…
Have a great Thursday!
