Good Morning!

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can [mere] man do to me?  -Psalms 118:6

This is somewhat of a spin off or follow up from yesterday. With God on our side what is there to fear? There is nothing anybody can do to get between you and God unless you let them. This does not mean that we shouldn’t have any regard for those around us, in fact we are called to be a community and to spread the gospel to those who aren’t believers. What it does mean is that our fulfillment in life should not be dependent on another person but rather on following God and living a life for Him. If we put all of our faith in another person we will be disappointed as that person will mess up at some point and disappoint you. In fact the people that have been hurt in church, want nothing to do with church, and carry a bitterness towards God were not hurt by God but by the people representing Him. There is no perfect human being out there but there is a Perfect God. Put your full, wholehearted faith in Him and you will not be disappointed. God is on your side, no need to fear. What can mere man do to you? Let that resonate with you today.
