Sharing the Gospel

Good Morning!

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction].  -1 Corinthians 13:1

Our duty as Christians is to spread the gospel, right? It not only matters what we share but also how we share it. If we are forceful in our beliefs to people that aren’t Christians who don’t understand what Christianity is about, is it going to be well received? In other words, if we don’t use love in spreading it, we are just as the verse above describes us……a noisy gong or clanging cymbal, an annoying distraction. We should always look to God for direction on sharing the Gospel and listen to Him for He will nudge you in the way that He wants you to go about it. Speak in love, listen in love, act in love……in what way will you show love to someone today?

“Listening is an act of love. When you listen to people, you are communicating non-verbally that they are important to you.”   -Jim George

“Speak in such a way that others love to listen to you. Listen in such a way that others love to speak to you.”

Dad Joke of the Day:

I read that, by law, you have to turn on your headlights when it’s raining in Sweden.

How am I supposed to know if it’s raining in Sweden?

Have a great Thursday!
