When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and sinners?” But when Jesus heard this, He said, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but [only] those who are sick. Go and learn what this [Scripture] means: ‘I desire compassion [for those in distress], and not [animal] sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call [to repentance] the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to change], but sinners [those who recognize their sin and actively seek forgiveness].  -Matthew 9:11-13

How many times are we like the Pharisees and we look at people and identity them by their sins? When we, as Christians, judge the non-Christians by our convictions, what desire do we instill in the non-Christians to become Christians? When we do that we come across as judgmental and most people aren’t drawn to judgment and therefore we are not drawing people to Christ, which as Christians should be our main goal. Do we love people as Jesus did, or do we judge people as the Pharisees did? Be the light.
