Good Morning!

The Lord also will be a refuge and a stronghold for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. -Psalm 9:9

When reading this passage it puts me at ease and brings peace to my thoughts, to be reminded that God is our refuge and our stronghold. If we are having rough time we can depend on Him being there and we can take refuge in Him. If we are getting attacked spiritually we have a stronghold to step into. Stronghold is another name for fort and if you think of a fort, it has high walls all around it that is there for protection from the enemy. Being in God’s stronghold is no different, we can find protection in Him and put ourselves in the best position to fight off the enemy. Today, when you feel overwhelmed or attacked, remind yourself of this verse.
