Abundance and Advantage

Good Morning!

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance and advantage, but everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty. -Proverbs 21:5

So often it is easy to act out of haste, in the moment, and then regret it later. Haste often leaves a trail of destruction behind it that someone has to clean up at some point, or if not cleaned up, can turn into ruin. Being diligent however, means being consistent, thinking things through before acting, and realizing the destruction that happens when we aren’t diligent. Diligence takes hard work, commitment, and determination. How diligent are we in our faith? How diligent are we in life, in our work?

“Great work is not attained by chance, it must be sought with diligence.”

“Work is doing it. Discipline is doing it every day. Diligence is doing it well every day.” -Dave Ramsey

Dad Joke of the Day:

Just had an officer at the door saying he was looking for a man with one eye……

Told him to use both and he’d probably find him a lot quicker.

Have a great Wednesday!
