Be Honest and Fair

Good Morning!

Like the partridge that hatches eggs which she has not laid, so is he who makes a fortune in ways that are unjust. It will be lost to him before his days are over, and in the end he will be [nothing but] a fool.  -Jeremiah 17:11 AMP

How do we approach business? How do we approach our finances? Do we push the moral lines in order to make more money and make excuses justifying ourselves? How we respond to scenarios that give us a choice to do what is morally wrong or morally right is telling of where our heart is. When we look at the big picture of life what we do here on earth needs to be more than just personal gain. God designed us to build each other up, be in community with each other, and do life with each other that benefits more than just ourselves. The verse above tells it how it is. What will people talk of us after we are gone, how greedy and selfish we were or how generous we were? Which one do you want to be known for?

“Moral choices are always easy to recognize, they are where you abandon self-interest.”

“True grit is making a decision and standing by it, doing what must be done. No moral man can have peace of mind if he leaves undone what he knows he should have done.”  -John Wayne

Dad Joke of the Day:

Johnny: I didn’t have time to jog this morning.

Timmy: You say that every day.

Johnny: It’s a running joke.

Have a great Wednesday!
