Mercies of God

Good Morning!

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. -Romans 12:1

I never thought of taking care of ourselves as an act of worship, but it only makes sense, we house the Holy Spirit and therefore should take as good care of our bodies as we know how. This not only means physically but also mentally and spiritually. What are we consuming physically and what are we consuming mentally? Is it helping us grow healthier and closer to God? Start small and consistently grow from there.
