Good work done with the right heart will never be wasted. If we can find a way to make our career become part of our mission and the why behind our motivations are to bring glory to God in some way, then we will naturally want to excel at everything we do. That doesn’t mean it won’t be hard at times and it doesn’t mean we might not get derailed sometimes, but if the “big picture” is bringing glory to God and growing His influence in the world it makes working through the hard times less tough and it makes getting back on track a lot easier because it’s not so much about us but about the mission.
