Cold or Hot

Good Morning!

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. -Revelation 3:15-16

I like hot coffee or ice cold coffee but I almost can’t stand lukewarm coffee. Are we lukewarm in our faith? Are we lukewarm in the way we go through life? Or are we intentional? God did not design us or intend us to be lukewarm. He put each and every one of us here on earth for a purpose, are we being intentional with that purpose? If we don’t know what that purpose is are we being intentional in spending time with God to where we can find out what that purpose is? Let us not be lukewarm but be intentional today. What does that look like for you? And what are you going to do about it?

“As I see it, a lukewarm Christian is an oxymoron; there is no such thing.” -Francis Chan

“We never grow closer to God when we just live life. It takes deliberate pursuit and attentiveness.” -Francis Chan

Dad Joke of the Day:

I’m giving up eating chocolate for a month.

Sorry, bad punctuation.

I’m giving up. Eating chocolate for a month.

Have a great, intentional Wednesday!
