Captures a City

Good Morning!

He who is slow to anger is better and more honorable than the mighty [soldier], And he who rules and controls his own spirit, than he who captures a city.  -Proverbs 16:32

It is really easy to let our emotions surface and come out of us as we feel them but if we can learn to control our emotions, our anger, our offense, it says that is more honorable than a mighty soldier. The spiritual battle that we are in every day is not an easy one and it takes a reliance on God and a strong will to not succumb to the emotions and offense that the devil loves to throw at us. A spiritual battle is no different than a physical one, we will have to use battle plans, what we have learned from God, and God’s help to defeat the enemy, the battle will not fight itself without you.

“A moment of patience in a moment of anger saves you a hundred moments of regret.”

“The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense.”  -Solomon

“A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough.”  -Bruce Lee
