Good Morning!
He who is slow to anger has great understanding [and profits from his self-control], But he who is quick-tempered exposes and exalts his foolishness [for all to see]. -Proverbs 14:29
Have you ever met a person that no matter what they just stayed calm and seemed to take whatever comes at them in stride? I would say that is someone that practices understanding and self-control. It takes some healthy self talk and God seeking for someone to reach that point.
“Anger is never without reason, but seldom with a good one.” -Benjamin Franklin
“The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense.” -Solomon
