Part of the active spiritual warfare is us engaging in the warfare and part of that is praying this prayer. Too many times we go through life and aren\u2019t active in prayer then get upset when the enemy sees an opportunity and takes it. When we are not engaged we leave an opening for enemy but when we are actively engaged God will help us and give us the tools to fight off the attacks. Scripture says that the enemy (demons) see God and shudder in fear and that is Who we have fighting for us when we are active in our prayer life.
