The enemy has a way of making us believe that we deserve certain things for whatever reason but then when we give into that desire we feel the weight of the sin that we just committed. When we focus on what Jesus wants instead of what our flesh wants we can overpower the flesh and live in harmony with God. There are certain things that may be a weakness to us and in those situations you may have to use wisdom and remove yourself from those situations altogether.
