He who loves purity of heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king as his friend. -Proverbs 22:11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There are two parts to this and sometimes the world focuses too much on the latter part of this and forgets about the first part of this verse. Too often we focus on the gracious speech part and becoming friends with the \u201cking\u201d but do it with an impure heart and motives. We focus on the relationship with the \u201cking\u201d for personal gain, either in favor from that person or for social status. But when we have a pure heart and our speech is gracious we don\u2019t go looking for those relationships, instead these type of people attract people to them almost like a magnet because they can sense the genuineness of the person and in and through that these type of people will have friends with highly influential people because they can be trusted and their motives are pure in heart.
