Bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive. -Colossians 3:13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Verse 12 starts out with \u201cAs God\u2019s chosen people\u201d so this verse is referring to us as God\u2019s chosen people in that we should graciously and willingly forgive one another. Often we may have every reason to hold a grudge against someone just as much as Jesus has a every reason to hold a grudge against us. Yet He willingly died for us, knowing that we would trample and disrespect what He did for us, and He willingly forgives us of all the hurtful things that we have done. I think it is multifaceted to why we should forgive quickly, first of all it is hard to have good relationship with someone if you are holding a grudge, secondly when we are holding a grudge there is often an ugly feeling that goes along with that. When holding a grudge we don\u2019t feel good inside, there is pent up anger that very likely will work itself out towards other people in your life.
