My son, if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, so that your ear is attentive to [skillful and godly] wisdom and apply your heart to understanding [seeking it conscientiously and striving for it eagerly]; yes, if you cry out for insight, and lift up your voice for understanding; if you seek skillful and godly wisdom as you would silver and search for her as you would hidden treasures; then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] and discover the knowledge of God. -Proverbs 2:1-5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Here again, when we seek relationship with God, when we listen to His nudging, when we follow what He teaches us in scripture He gives us wisdom. Godly wisdom far outshines any other wisdom you can acquire and it is available to anyone, no matter what your background or past are. All we have to do is just seek Him as described in the above verses. It says when we do this we will not only understand the fear of the Lord, but we will discover the knowledge of God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAs the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so the denial of God is the height of foolishness.\u201d -R.C.
