That was the case with the above verse, the verse reference was on a church sign with the words, \u201cGreatest thing to mankind\u201d so I had to look it up and how true it is! In the Old Testament the sacrifices that were made to God were to be spotless and as close to perfect as possible, it was to be the best, off the top, the first fruits. That is still a requirement today in order to get in the presence of God, but since we can\u2019t do that because we are all sinners Jesus did it for us, and through His sacrifice we are made white as snow. That is something to be extremely thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe only defense against evil is the indwelling of Jesus Christ in the heart through faith in His righteousness.\u201d -Ellen G.
