Good Morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then he (the devil) led Jesus up [to a high mountain] and displayed before Him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth [and their magnificence] in the twinkling of an eye. And the devil said to Him, \u201cI will give You all this realm and its glory [its power, its renown]; because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore if You worship before me, it will all be Yours.\u201d Jesus replied to him, \u201cIt is written and forever remains written, \u2018You shall worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.\u2019\u201d\u2009 -Luke 4:5-8 AMP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you follow evil to its root there will be someone after power or fame or both. What the devil offered to Jesus was everything so many people have sought after since the beginning of time. The way it was presented is still how it is presented today\u2026you can take this shortcut to get where you want to go but there is this one small thing that you have to do that goes against good, but that one thing is what gets in the way of ever reaching the fulfillment that we seek. Jesus had more power available to him than the devil did and could have responded in a number of ways but instead responded with the utmost truth that one could\u2026scripture. The more we study scripture the better equipped we are, the Bible is not called a Sword for no reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTemptation is not a sin. It is the yielding that is sin. All temptation is from the devil.\u201d  -Billy Graham<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen tempted by the devil, Jesus didn\u2019t defeat Satan with His opinions. He defeated him with, \u2018It is written.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
