As for me, I baptized you [who came to me] with water [only]; but He will baptize you [who truly repent] with the Holy Spirit. -Mark 1:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This was from John the Baptist, he was baptizing people with water only, as a sign of repentance, but Jesus came and gave each and every one of us the opportunity to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We still baptize with water as an outward sign of repentance and if we truly repent and seek God, Jesus will baptize us with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will direct our thoughts, actions, and words if we allow Him to and we listen to Him.
