Do not eat the bread of a selfish man, or desire his delicacies; for as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior\u2014one who manipulates]. He says to you, \u201cEat and drink,\u201d yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost].  -Proverbs 23:6-7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do we give begrudgingly? Do we give because we feel obligated or do we give because we want to? If you find yourself giving begrudgingly I encourage you to change your viewpoint on it and give in a spirit of generosity. Giving begrudgingly will only get you the blessing of that exact incident, but giving generously will continue to keep giving beyond that incident because your heart is in the right position. This does not only apply to material things, this can also apply to your time and the giving of your time, or your support and giving someone your support in something. Where are you going to give generously today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
