Now the mind of the flesh is death [both now and forever\u2014because it pursues sin]; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace [the spiritual well-being that comes from walking with God\u2014both now and forever]. -Romans 8:6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It says that the mind of flesh is death. If our mind is a mind of flesh there is always fear and unrest since we can only rely on ourselves in life and we, by ourselves, are not enough. If we have the mind of the Spirit we can experience peace and life, we don\u2019t have to live in fear all the time because we can have the assurance that God is there for us no matter what.
