By observing the Law no one will ever be justified [declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty]. -Galatians 2:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The early church really struggled with letting go of the Law and realizing that it is by faith in Jesus that they are saved. There was a lot of struggles between the Jewish converts on how the Christians from the outside of the Jewish culture should be interacted with as well as how the \u201coutside\u201d Christians needed to act. In the verse above, among other verses, Paul is calling out the Galatians for adding to the faith and bringing the Law back into the picture as a requirement for being a Christian. From your observation, how does this still apply to the Church today? How does this apply to the church you attend?
