Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body. -1 Corinthians 6:19-20<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Do we look as our body as a temple for the Holy Spirit? Do we take care of it with that in mind? What about our mind, it is part of the body as well. Do we take care of our mind? The media we take in, the books we read, the movies we watch, the magazines we look at can all have a bearing on our mind\u2019s health. The things that we tell ourselves, do they line up with what God tells us about ourselves in the Bible? Or do we allow Satan to creep self-destructive thoughts in there about ourselves that aren\u2019t true? All this contributes to the health of our mind. Looking at my body and mind as a temple for the Holy Spirit makes me want to take better care of myself.
