Running or fleeing takes intentionality and urgency. Idolatry can be anything that gets in the way from making God the most important thing in your life and it looks different for everyone. In some cases it is a matter of setting healthy boundaries around what that vice might be. In other cases it is a matter of removing ourselves completely and setting up boundaries to never get close to it.
