Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence]. -Ephesians 4:31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I know that this is easier said than done. If you are able to control your anger you are in a much better place than if you don\u2019t as afterwards you will look back and not feel good about what you said or did. Holding your anger within and not dealing with it properly though, will turn to bitterness, resentment, and possibly hatred. Notice how slander and malice (spitefulness) are in that list as well, of things that we should put away from us? Also note how it says we should \u2018put away\u2019 and not \u2018hold within\u2019. The ability to \u2018put away\u2019 comes from the process of practicing healthy thoughts and that comes from a relationship with God, Who will help you realize that you are hurting yourself worse than the people around you by practicing all those things. It once again comes back to your relationship with God\u2026so how do you grow that relationship? You spend time in His Word (the Bible) and in prayer\/conversations with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe best anger management is prayer in the midst of the anger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYour mind is like water, when it becomes agitated it becomes difficult to see.
