As Jesus was still speaking, Judas [Iscariot], one of the twelve [disciples], came up accompanied by a large crowd with swords and clubs, [who came as representatives] from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, \u201cWhomever I kiss, He is the one; seize Him.\u201d Immediately Judas went to Jesus and said, \u201cGreetings (rejoice), Rabbi!\u201d And he kissed Him [in a deliberate act of betrayal]. Jesus said to Judas, \u201cFriend, do what you came for.\u201d Then they came and seized Jesus and arrested Him. -Matthew 26:47-50<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We aren\u2019t sure how long Judas was one of Jesus\u2019 disciples but it would have been a while. We do know that he took care of the finances for Jesus and His group. The following is totally speculation, but I have wondered if Judas being a money guy was about making the ministry a business and saw a massive opportunity to make money off of Jesus\u2019 healing abilities and he got extremely frustrated when Jesus insisted on healing and teaching for free and giving away most of the money they had on helping other people. This created a bad soundtrack in his mind of frustration towards Jesus and then when the opportunity to betray Jesus for a large sum of money came along it was much easier for him to justify doing it. Removing bad soundtracks is of the utmost importance as they can lead to justifying sin a lot easier than if they didn\u2019t exist. What soundtrack are you battling with today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTrain your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice.
