Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. -James 1:17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I love this verse in how it points out that God is perfect but also that He is the Father of lights. There is no darkness in or around Him and since He is the light He doesn\u2019t even cast a shadow. Note also how it says that there is no variation in God, meaning He is always consistent. You don\u2019t have to worry about if today is a bad day or good day for God because He will always respond in the same way. That is a good lesson on life as well, the more consistent we are the better and more stable our relationships. Same in leadership, the more consistent we are in how we lead, the more trust is created in our culture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are what we repeatedly do.
