For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.  -Galatians 6:8<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look at this like growing nice, green, plump vegetables in the Midwest or trying to grow them in the Sahara desert. God gives us all the resources we need to grow a good crop just like the rain, nutritious soil, etc., all we have to do is live in good relationship with Him. The more full our crop is the less chances of weeds to pop up and what you reap will be a full harvest. If you try to grow anything in the Sahara desert, you could probably water it, maybe bring some other soil in and get it started but you have so many elements working against you that you would never have a full crop and in the end will be a complete ruin. That is how the devil works as well, he might give you just enough for you to think you are doing alright and keep leading you on but in the end will bring you to complete destruction. Luckily we have a better option, we just have to be intentional with that option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReaping what we have sown is not a curse of the law; it is not something God makes happen to us, but primarily the natural and social consequences of our choices.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
