Then the Lord said, \u201cDo you have a good reason to be angry?\u201d -Jonah 4:4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n God had asked Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach repentance to keep them and their city from being destroyed. Jonah didn\u2019t think they deserved that and tried to run away from it, but after experiencing a lot of opposition changed his thinking, repented, and went to Nineveh to preach. Obviously he didn\u2019t expect Nineveh to repent and when they did he became angry at God because he knew that God was a forgiving and gracious God and would spare the city since they had repented which is when God asked him this question. How many times do we think we know what is best, even better than God, and when it doesn\u2019t go as we think it should we get frustrated or angry because we think someone deserves worse than what they got.
