For the Lord gives [skillful and godly] wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores away sound wisdom for the righteous [those who are in right standing with Him]; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity [those of honorable character and moral courage]. -Proverbs 2:6-7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I love how the verse says that God will store away sound wisdom for the righteous giving the assurance that when we are in pursuit of God the wisdom that He is willing to share with us will never run out. I also love the fact that when we walk in integrity God is our shield. God being our shield is not to be confused with avoiding hardships but rather that we are shielded from the deadly weapons that the enemy uses. Shields used in warfare were not there to eliminate the fighting but to shield oneself from enemy fire. The enemy will always be present and fighting, we as Christians just have weapons and gear to fight back.
