Whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first and most important among you must be slave of all. -Mark 10:43b-44<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This one can be hard to wrap our head around because naturally as humans we want to be selfish. What this is saying is that if we want to be the most important we must be a slave to all which seemingly contradicts the idea of being important. If you aspire to be a great leader it will have to be through servant leadership and that can look a bit different depending on the situation and the person. A leader is only a leader if he\/she has followers but if leading out of a selfish stance you will very likely not have followers and at that point are managing instead of leading. If we don\u2019t aspire to be a good leader or any leader we still have responsibilities as followers, one of which is not taking a good leader for granted and another is to try and not exploit the servant part of the leadership. We all have responsibilities no matter which side of it we are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLeadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn the world, the strong take advantage of and abuse the weak, using them for their own personal pleasure or advantage at the other\u2019s expense.
