If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. -John 12:26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We are stretched in so many directions most of the time that it is hard to know what to prioritize. We want to prioritize our marriage, our children, our children\u2019s sports, our friends, work, home, church\u2026 but in what order do we prioritize them? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Above all else we should prioritize God and He will give us wisdom on every situation from there. Not only will He give you wisdom on it but He will also give you favor in it. We think, yeah yeah, that sounds nice, but what does that look like? Not to complicate it more but I think it looks different for every person in how you connect with God. Personally, I am one that likes to soak up knowledge, so on my 25 minute commute to and from work I always listened to pod-casts, audiobooks, world events, sermons, or sometimes music thinking that was how I gain more knowledge on God. I tried something different this week that has made a tremendous difference in my headspace for the day, I started just conversing with God. This includes dumping everything on Him, venting my frustrations, asking for advice, asking for favor\u2026creating relationship, creating dependency. It wasn\u2019t that I didn\u2019t pray before but somehow this is different for me, actually handing over my burdens to God, getting it off my chest if you will. That might not look the same for you, but I encourage you to try things until you find something that connects you to Him on a deeper level and from there, He will help you figure out your priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I would love to hear from you on how you personally connect with God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives.
