Good Morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it. -John 14:12-14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n What a promise! As a believer in Jesus Christ we have some great promises given to us, a couple of which are in the above verses. If we are a true follower of Jesus, we will do what He did, it even says we are able to do more because as a body of believers our outreach is greater throughout the world than what Jesus\u2019 was while He was on the earth which is why He sent the Holy Spirit after He ascended to help us as the body of believers to spread the Gospel throughout the world. Another promise He makes is that whatever we ask in His name, when we are aligned with Him, He will do, so that God can be glorified. Too often we read this and then when we pray things that are aligned with God with a true motive and it doesn\u2019t happen right away we tend to doubt that this particular promise is true. Something that we have to remember is that it is on God\u2019s timing and not ours, and often when that prayer gets answered it makes sense on why it happened when it did. Again, I encourage you to write down your prayers and read them at a later time to realize just how many of our prayers get answered that we forget we even prayed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen we pray, God hears more than we say, answers more than we ask, gives more than we imagine\u2026in His own time and His own way.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe greatest tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer.\u201d -F.B.
