No man will [be able to] stand before you [to oppose you] as long as you live. Just as I was [present] with Moses, so will I be with you; I will not fail you or abandon you. -Joshua 1:5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This promise was given to Joshua before he led the Israelites into the promised land. This same promise is still true for us today. Just like God promised Joshua back then the same is still true today, there is no person here on earth that can stand between us and our promised land (heaven). It is easy to let the fear of rejection and persecution from the enemy overcome us but the one thing that nobody can take from you is your faith. Jesus said in Luke 12 to not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have nothing more than they can do but instead, to fear the One that has the authority and power to decide your destiny after death. You might read this and think that this is heavy, but I would argue that it is extremely freeing. We serve a God that has promised to never fail or abandon us and is bigger than anything that the enemy can even think of creating against us. I\u2019m not sure it can get any better than that.
