The righteous man is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. -Proverbs 12:26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We all have people that we look up to in life and my guess would be that most of those people are righteous, God fearing people. But let\u2019s not just be the people that look up to other people but also be a person that other people can look up to. For those that have kids that are old enough to imitate your habits understand that what we do gets passed down to our kids, good and bad. The same is true for leaders in the workplace, leaders in society, leaders in the church, what is done by the leaders often sets the tone of the people that follow them. Does that mean you aren\u2019t allowed to mess up? No. Obviously you don\u2019t want to mess up if you can help it but it will happen and when it does, and it will, how you respond to it is what determines your character. If you are repentant and you make right what was wronged that shows your desire for righteousness. If someone you respect messes up don\u2019t write them off until you see how they respond to their mess up. In the Bible there was Saul and David, they both messed up repeatedly, you could even argue that David messed up bigger than Saul in a lot of ways but what made the difference between the two was their response to their mistakes.
