If we are excited to lead we can give off the wrong vibe if we are pridefully excited to lead. If we see someone that is excited to lead with humility, knowing that they don\u2019t know it all and that they have to lean heavily on God for direction and want to lead to make a difference in others\u2019 lives, then it is exciting for everyone around them as well. Too often we have a skewed view of leadership one way or another but the Bible actually gives a lot of direction and examples on how to lead. The greatest example of leadership is Jesus, He did not come to be served, although as the Son of God He could have demanded that, but instead He came to serve, to lay down His life for all of us. Leadership requires a lot of leading by example and that takes a servant heart. True leadership is the outpouring of self more than selfish decisions, and being able to decipher what is the right thing to do and following through with it, no matter the amount of stones that get thrown at you. When we understand true leadership and are still excited to lead, that is when God can use us in big ways. I believe this applies to all leadership, just as much in the workplace as in the church, how we lead our lives should not have boundaries between church and workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force but example, not coercion but reasoned persuasion.
