Good Morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus said to His disciples, \u201cFor this reason I tell you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; or about your body, as to what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.\u201d -Luke 12:22-23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A few verses after this Jesus says that we cannot add even an hour to our life by worrying so if we aren\u2019t even able to do that why do we worry about the rest? I was just having a conversation with someone the other day about stress and worry and it hit me that we tend to spend so much energy on temporary things. We get stressed out about work, either we aren\u2019t able to work enough hours to pay the bills or there aren\u2019t enough hours in the day to get everything done that we need to get done. We might be stressed out about how we look, how our house looks, what kind of vehicle we drive, how we are going to get our kids to all their sporting events and activities, how we are going to cram one more thing into our schedule. I am not saying that these things aren\u2019t important but are we putting all our focus on those things and putting our faith building on the shelf because we just can\u2019t find the time? Over busyness, stress, and worry are all tools of distraction of the enemy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWorrying does not take away tomorrow\u2019s troubles, it takes away today\u2019s peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnxiety happens when you think you have to figure out everything all at once. Breathe. You\u2019re strong. God\u2019s got you.
