For in much [human] wisdom there is much displeasure and exasperation; increasing knowledge increases sorrow. -Ecclesiastes 1:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We think that the smarter we become the happier we will be. We think the more knowledge and experience we gain in the world the more it will help us and the more fulfilled we will be. Like the verse above says, often when we gain only worldly knowledge our happiness doesn\u2019t increase, if anything sorrow increases. When we put our purpose on earthly wisdom we realize that we will never actually achieve fulfillment in it. The only way to achieve actual fulfillment is living for Christ and through Godly knowledge is where true happiness, true joy comes from. The things that are the most fulfilling, the things that will stick with us for years, is the time spent with family and friends, and the time spent helping others and pursuing God.
