I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. -Philippians 1:6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Let us read this verse slowly and read it multiple times. Do we believe that? That God has begun a good work in us and if we continue to pursue Him, He will continue to perfect that good work in us. If we can recognize that whatever we are walking through, good or bad, might be being used to make us better. I am not saying that if you are walking through something bad that it was God that caused it, but He can use every situation to better us, to work on perfecting the good work in us. Will we ever reach perfection? Not as humans and not on this side of heaven, but the good work that He does through us can be perfected because God is perfect. I believe that if we allow ourselves to be used by God, He can work His perfect ways through us even though we are not perfect.
