Have Faith in Your Faith

Good Morning!

The faith which you have [that gives you freedom of choice], have as your own conviction before God [just keep it between yourself and God, seeking His will]. Happy is he who has no reason to condemn himself for what he approves.  -Romans 14:22

Your faith in God is between you and God. God knows if you are not sincere in your faith and God also knows when you are acting in faith and obedience to Him when other people may think otherwise. We all gain convictions as we grow in our faith and relationship with God and when we follow those convictions, we will be at peace in life. When we go against those convictions we will have unrest. As the verse says, “Happy is he who has no reason to condemn himself.” Our convictions are ours and because we have a conviction about it doesn’t mean everyone will although in our mind it just makes sense, but we have to remember that everyone is at a different spot in their faith walk. Sometimes convictions that you had God will remove from you as you grow in relationship, and other times it you will gain convictions as you grow in your faith. Let us listen to God, read our Bible, and listen to our convictions.

“One man with conviction will overwhelm a hundred who have only opinions.”  -Winston Churchill

“Belief is knowing what you believe. Conviction is knowing why you believe it.”  -Josh McDowell

Dad Joke of the Day:

What’s the difference between a cat and a comma?

A cat has claws at the end of paws; a comma is a pause at the end of a clause.

Have a great Monday!
