Good Morning!
You are advancing today to battle against your enemies. Do not lack courage. Do not be afraid, or panic, or tremble [in terror] before them, for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’ -Deuteronomy 20:3b-4
This was said to the Israelites but still applies to us today. Every day we are in the fight of good and evil, if we are aware of it or not. Being aware of it and knowing that Jesus has already won the biggest battle for us is how we should enter into every day. The enemy is trying every tactic he can, every single day, to try and derail us but we can walk in the confidence that God is ahead of us, already fighting the battle if we are in close relationship with Him. If we wander off from our relationship with Him we tend to wander out of His protection. Let’s not dwell on the ways that the enemy is attacking us because when we dwell on that it has a way of taking us down the wrong path, let us just be aware of it and instead dwell in the presence and protection of God and put our focus on pursuing Him.
